Manchester, NH – July 18, 2017Professional Teledata, a pioneer of hosted and premise-based solutions for call centers, today announced that Nate Gefvert of Towne Answering Service was the recipient of the 2017 Allen Kalik Award. The announcement was made during the annual PINetwork User Group Meeting in Miami, Florida.

The Allen Kalik Award was implemented in 2011 after the passing of industry leader and Professional Teledata’s late president, Allen Kalik. Honoring Allen for his tremendous contributions to the telecommunications industry and the PINetwork Group (PIN), this award recognizes individuals whose unselfish dedication and leadership have led to the advancement of PIN.

“Nate has always been very willing to share his knowledge and expertise with fellow PIN members,” said Phyllis Shaw, education committee chair of the PIN Board. “He is continually there to lend a hand or offer a potential solution. He pushes the limits and thinks outside the box. Nate is very deserving of the Allen Kalik Award.”

Gefvert is the Systems Administrator at Town Answering Service. He joined Towne Answering Service in 2004 and moved into his current role in 2009. He is an active member of the PIN Board, currently serving as Secretary. In 2013, he served as Vice President and in 2014 he served as President of the PIN Board.

“I am honored to be considered alongside the other great contributors to the PINetwork who have helped so many others – including me – over the years,” said Gefvert. “I remember Allen being kind and considerate to me at my first PIN conference when I had no knowledge of what a TAS platform was. His vision for Pinnacle helped create the invaluable toolkit of software that we rely upon to this day, and fostered a developmental mindset of always expanding and growing the product to suit future needs.”
Manchester, NH – July 7, 2017 – The Association of Teleservices International (ATSI) announced at the 2017 Annual Conference that Alan Hartmann, director of software development for Professional Teledata, received the Maryann Wetmore Lifetime Achievement Award. Hartmann was presented with the award on June 29 during the awards dinner gala in Chicago.

The Maryann Wetmore Lifetime Achievement Award was developed in 2014 and is the highest-ranking award from ATSI. Named in honor of telephone answering service (TAS) industry leader, Maryann Wetmore, this award is presented to individuals that have made significant contributions to the industry.

“This award is a wonderful recognition of Alan’s dedication and service to the telephone answering service industry, and to ATSI,” said ATSI president Doug Robbins. “Alan is a relentless advocate for our industry. His receipt of the Maryann Wetmore Lifetime Achievement Award is well deserved, and we thank him for his contributions.”

Hartmann has more than 40 years of experience in software engineering and 35 years of TAS/call center leadership. He currently oversees all product development of the PTD product line. This year’s ATSI marked Hartman’s 35th consecutive conference.

I have been fortunate to have spent so many years working in a business and industry that I love,” said Hartmann. “To receive this recognition from my peers who share a common passion and commitment, and to be included among esteemed past recipients that I greatly admire and respect, is quite humbling.”

The announcement was made during the annual PINetwork User Group Meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

He is someone who thinks outside the box, and pushes us all to the next level.” 

Freire is the IT director at Direct Line Tele Response. He began his career at GTE Sprint, and has over 30 years of experience within the telephony industry. From 2006-2007, Freire served as president of the PIN board of directors. He also served on the PIN board in 2005 as a director.

  • Easy Account Management: End users can access and download invoices and view traffic statistics from their account. Users now maintain the administration of their accounts, including registration and passwords.
